Cricket Wireless Review

Cricket Wireless is a budget alternative cell phone service. I have been using them for several years now. I love the monthly pricing, but there are downsides to choosing a budget cell phone service provider.

Is Cricket Wireless Reliable?

Cricket Wireless is owned by AT&T and uses their networks.

Do I have to sign a contract?

Cricket Wireless is a prepaid service. You get charged as you go and you can quit anytime.

Pricing?

Pricing as of 11/12/20

The price advertised is the price you pay. If it says $30 then you pay $30. Also, there are discounts for adding lines.

4 lines for $100

Great deal, 4 lines for $100. Like I said, more line more price reductions. That’s $25 a line!

Downside?

The downside is you get less options. This mainly refers to phones. If you want the latest phones and rely on certain deals from your provider this may not be the option for you. Don’t get me wrong, they do have plenty of deals, just not what AT&T would have. The offers are better if you are initially signing up. If I don’t find a phone for a good price on their website, I just get one from Amazon or eBay.

Conclusion

For me, this is the way to go. I don’t need the latest and greatest phone and I will happily go with fewer options if it means a lower bill. When I say lower I mean much lower. I’m paying $50 less a month and getting more features than what I had before. If you are interested you can follow the link below.
